Day 1: February 12, 2026
We finally arrived in Costa Rica, after landing, we went straight to get our first Costa Rican meal ¡muy rico! And we explored the city where we were staying at, San Joaquin de Flores. Today marked the start of fresh experiences as we touched down in Costa Rica and connected with the culture. Una manera perfecta de empezar esta aventura.

Day 2: February 13, 2026
Today we went to visit Heredia, better known as la Ciudad de las Flores. We visited the Central Market and its Cathedral, where we had the opportunity to practice our Spanish, and we ended the day with a dance class with Latin music. ¡Fue muy divertido!

Day 3: February 14, 2026
We enjoyed helping at the Animal Rescue in San José today. We have got to spend time with and feed many of the animals with special needs. We also enjoyed making nuestros propios choclates y poder decorarlos them however we wanted with our favorite flavors. It was un momento inolvidable por que pudimos compartir con los demás.

Day 4: February 15, 2026
We visited the central city of Costa Rica, saw the theater and its beauty, and learned a little more about the country's history. ¡Aprendimos mucho! In the afternoon, we enjoyed a soccer game at the stadium. ¡Nos encantó ver a la Liga jugar!

Day 5: February 16, 2026
We had a morning of Spanish classes, sharing conversations with our teachers and classmates, which was a great opportunity to improve our Spanish. In the afternoon, we went to the central city to help a la escuela 15 de Septiembre paint its classrooms for the children's return to school, so that they can enjoy themselves and study hard in a nicer school. ¡Nos divertimos pintando las aulas!

Day 6: February 17, 2026
It was a very productive day. After our classes, we went to the school where we had finished painting and spent time with the local children. We played, ate fruit, and did lots of activities. We got to know each of them ¡Disfrutamos de una maravillosa tarde!

Day 7: February 18, 2026
It was a great day because we had our graduación de clases de español, where we gave presentations to our classmates and teachers, studying Costa Rica's typical foods and its beautiful flora and fauna. To end the day, we went to La Paz Waterfall, a place filled with fresh air from its trees, ¡Y tambien conocimos muchos animales!

Day 8: February 19, 2026
It was a day full of adventure. We visited Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, where we saw various animals, including monkeys, snakes, crabs, sloths, and birds. We also enjoyed the beautiful beach and were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset. ¡Fue muy colorido y brillante!

Day 9: February 20, 2026
On my last day in Costa Rica, it was time to say goodbye to mi familia tica. I left with new friends, better Spanish, and unforgettable memories. ¡Pura vida, Costa Rica!
